🇲🇾 Malaysia's bid to join the BRICS club: What benefits does membership offer?

With a GDP of $414.7 billion, a population of 34 million, and an annual GDP growth of 4.2%, Malaysia is eager to tap into the potential advantages of joining BRICS.

By becoming a member of this influential economic club, Malaysia would be able to attract investment and get access to new economic opportunities that could further boost its economic growth.

🌟 Strategic impact of Malaysia joining BRICS

▪️ Economic Dynamism: Malaysia’s diversified economy, from electronics to natural resources, adds significant value to the BRICS consortium.

▪️ Energy Resources: With vast reserves in oil and natural gas, Malaysia can contribute to the energy security among BRICS nations.

▪️ Strategic Location: Positioned along key maritime routes, Malaysia would bolster BRICS' logistical and trade capabilities.

🤝 Boosting ASEAN-BRICS ties

▪️ Economic Bridge: Malaysia can act as a conduit for ASEAN-BRICS trade and investment, linking the two major economic blocs.

▪️ Innovation Network: Malaysia would facilitate tech and innovation exchanges between ASEAN and BRICS nations.

▪️ Supply Chain Integration: By fusing ASEAN's supply chains with BRICS, this would enhance regional and global supply chain resilience.

▪️ Market Access: ASEAN markets would open up to BRICS investments and vice versa, thereby boosting regional growth.

🇮🇳 What's known about India's fight against Maoists?

As Indian forces intensified their fight against Naxalites, an Indian ‘Maoist’ group in Jharkhand, we offer you a deep dive into all the essential details concerning the movement.👇

Who are the Naxalites?

Originating from the 1967 Naxalbari uprising in West Bengal, the Maoists, or Naxalites, are an armed leftist extremist group in India. Inspired by former Chinese leader Mao Zedong, they advocate for agrarian socialism and the overthrow of the Indian state.

🎯 What goal do the Maoists aim to achieve?

▪️ The central theme of Maoist ideology is the use of violence and armed insurrection as a means to capture power in India. “Bearing of arms is non-negotiable” the insurgency’s doctrine insists. The Maoist ideology glorifies violence and Peoples Liberation Guerrilla Army (PLGA) cadres are trained specifically in the worst forms of violence to evoke terror among the population under their domination.

▪️ Naxalite groups have generally claimed to represent the poorest and most socially marginalized members of Indian society — notably tribal peoples and Dalits (formerly called untouchables) — and to adhere to the ‘Maoist’ doctrine of peasant-led revolution.

💰 Who is backing Maoists in India?

▪️ Traditionally, leaders have received support from China as well as Western nations.

▪️ The movement was initially based in Bangladesh. They trained in China and operated from Bangladeshi camps, sources in India's MoD shared.

▪️ Naxalites obtain weapons through various sources and methods, with numerous reports linking them to militant and criminal groups across South Asia.

▪️ The groups interact with Maoists from Nepal, Northeast Indian insurgents, ISI-backed Islamists from Bangladesh and criminals from Myanmar, leading to unchecked weapon flows among them.

🇨🇦🤡 A ‘moment of silence’ for Khalistani terrorist's death

Canada's Parliament observed a 'moment of silence' to mark the one-year anniversary of Khalistani radical Hardeep Singh Nijjar's death.

The incident surrounding Nijjar's killing has strained bilateral relations between Canada and India, with Canada alleging the involvement of the Indian government.

India has rubbished the allegations, terming them "absurd and motivated."

IS THE DALAI LAMA A CIA AGENT? 🤯

A visit by a former 🇺🇸US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to Dalai Lama's residence on Wednesday has sparked controversy and questions online: why are Americans sniffing around in Tibet and can we really trust the Tibetan spiritual leader? 🤔

Western puppet allegations

◾️ The Dalai Lama's escape to India in 1959 following a failed uprising against Chinese rule was reportedly supported by the CIA: reports claim he was employed by the Deep State in the 1950-1974, receiving $15,000 a month.

◾️ In the 1960s, the CIA financed the Tibetan resistance, including annual payments of $1.7 million and $180,000 directly for the Dalai Lama. This support was part of the broader Cold War strategy to counteract communism.

◾️ Tibetan insurgents were reportedly trained in guerrilla warfare and intelligence operations at secret bases in the United States, including camps in Colorado. These operations were aimed at creating a strategic challenge to Communist China.

Allegations of sexual misconduct

◾️ In 2023, a video surfaced showing the Dalai Lama asking a young boy to "suck his tongue" during a public event. The Dalai Lama's office issued an apology, stating that his actions were meant playfully and expressing regret for any hurt caused.

🔎 WHO WAS HARDEEP SINGH NIJJAR?

All you need to know about the notorious Khalistani criminal 👇

◾️ Nijjar arrived in Canada in 1997 under a false passport, facing rejection of his refugee claim and subsequent immigration sponsorship through marriage.

◾️ Security agencies linked Nijjar to recruiting and training for the banned terrorist group Khalistan Tiger Force (KTF), and his association with the separatist Sikhs for Justice.

◾️ India expressed concerns about Nijjar's activities, highlighted when former Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh urged action from Prime Minister Trudeau in 2018.

◾️ Punjab police sought Nijjar's extradition in 2022 for alleged involvement in terror-related incidents, including the 2017 Ludhiana blast.

◾️ Nijjar gets shot by gang members, while Canada mercilessly tried to blame Indian authorities, without giving any evidence 🤡
